Manchester United Vs Bayern Munich

The Champions World Series promised to "deliver the best of the best - great teams with great tradition and exciting players with unbelievable skills." The Manchester United vs Bayern Munich match held at Soldier Field, Chicago fell a little short of that. Attended by more than 58,000 eager fans, the teams failed to deliver as only a handful of starters stepped on to the field.

The match ended a 0-0 draw, marked with poor passing and mere five shots at goal among the contestants. Even though the announcer initially announced a 5 min overtime to be followed by a second 5 min overtime in case the match remained drawn, the teams went straight to penalty which ended 4-2 in favor of Bayern Munich. Oliver Kahn, the German International who saved two of ManU's penalties was named the man of the match. As always the 35 year old Kahn proved why he is the best of the best- the only truth to the claim put by the Champions World promotion.
