The festival began with a colorful parade that began at 11am from the 10^th and Pacific Street and ended at the Lewis and Clark Landing. Many participants from the NNS wore traditional Nepali outfits and received much attention and praise from the crowd as the participants spiritedly sashayed down the streets waving Nepali flags.
