So, what is the difference between a donor and a sponsor? Both donors and sponsors give away money, food, clothing, gift cards, free dinners, and free services to the group or charity of their choice. But the fundamental difference between these two groups is their motive behind the giving. For sponsors, the motive is clear and easy to understand. They give away things to spread their good name in order to build a reputation for their business or their brand. Their hope is that the goodwill they earn will encourage their consumers to remain loyal to their goods or services. Whenever sponsors make a contribution to your community, you are grateful for their service but understand that they would be grateful to you too if you buy their product. It is therefore easy to understand their mind and easy to return the favor if you wish to. |

It is a great responsibility as well as a great honor to be able to serve you as the president of NNS. When I first moved to Nebraska with my family from Chicago, I immediately became very impressed with the NNS. I noticed that it was functioning like a big happy family to all Nepalese and friends of Nepalese in this community. I quickly realized that this society really belongs to all of us in the community.
